I had an enjoyable time. I woke up quite early to catch a bus with the group I was to be working as a part of during the excursion, and we proceeded to of course head over to the work site of Concho Community Garden. I will admit that the work was strenuous (yet I can't seem to place exactly why that is, considering this seems to have left me even worse for the wear than did the Pease Park Cleanup) because the resources at hand were not the best. Lack of gloves, or decent buckets, or wheel barrows, all lent to making the work more tedious than efficient. Luckily, we had quite a number of people come out to assist in the gardening effort: so that was cool.

I picked weeds, shoveled, and planted. Met a lot of people!
