I basically just dug up dirt next to the fence to put wood in the dirt. After that, we had to dig up some more dirt to level the ground. Pretty much it.
During this community service at the Concho community garden I took out weeds, dug out weeds near the fence to place wood against it, watered plants, and moved some plants. It was a lot of manual labor but it was a good experience.
We mostly weeded the garden and cleaned it up a bit. Everyone picked a job to do. The work felt good after awhile and wasn't hard. I plan on going back next weekend and working on the garden some more.
Amazing experience as always!
I went to the garden and learned valuable information about compost. I learned how to make compost and also how to maintain it. The people there were really nice and we worked as a teamwork to get things done.
