Lots of honey bee and beetles on blooming plants. Saw small very fast moving native bees on Nemophila phacelioides (TX Baby Blue Eyes). Appears all black but photo show some grayish bands on back. Suspect a small carpenter bee (Ceratina). Warm, sunny, conditions. I am still unable to load observations to the iNat project and my observation was not automatically uploaded in the field.

Halictidae (?) bee feeding on nectar of Ehretia anacua blossoms in Mayfield Park near parking lot. Lots of beetles on many of the flowering plants, not a lot of bee activity even among honey bees. Early afternoon, 89F sunny and windy.

3 species documented on this lovely mostly sunny afternoon after recent rains. unable to get photographs of small green carpenter bee visiting red buckeye and possibly a greenish mason bee or sweat bee (larger than a lasio but smaller than a honey bee) on persimmon tree blooming, but not sure on that last one as observation was fleeting. Delighted to see another bee observer.
