In Bowie they accept up to 70 credits from a community college. The whole associate's degree can be transferred over as well. This is good and useful information since I am planning on wanting to do to Bowie. In University of Baltimore they offers scholarships for transfers. They even have grants as well. In MICA they have a graphic design program. All these information will be very helpful in the future.

Here I learned about the different price rages in different universities. This is good information to have so that I can prepare well. For the University of Maryland are that the Per semester fee is $861. The student fee is around $95-$230. Learning about the average tuition is for a community college is $3990.
I learned that human tracking is the second largest and fastest growing criminal industry making around $150 billion. Around 100,000 children are at risk of being victims. I learned that those who targeted who those who can be easily be physically or mentally hurt. Those who have lack of experience of the world are victims as well. Runaway and homeless children are also targets as well. This can include those who have prior history with sexual abuse, physical abuse and even neglect. Those who want love can be easily targeted by those they have met and be tricked.
I learned that we should prioritize in earning our hours through PGCC events rather then outside ones because a sense of community among our peers is strongly advised. We should do 15 hours each semesters and 2 mandatory meetings. The end of the semester meeting is in May, I need to make sure that I have about 15 hours by then. Since I am graduating the full time hours requirement may not apply.
Here we learned about when the mini sessions are and what they will be about . I also learned about how summer courses are also covered, this was hopeful information since I can prepared before hand if I need to take classes in the summer. I also learned about the requirements such as doing the progress reports, and submitting the FAFSA.
In this event I relearned about that in Give Pulse that the hours are due on December 13th. I learned that in December 2nd to the 20th the in store purchases for Winter open. February 7th is the deadline for Spring purchases. The book scholarship of $1000 is in the Winter/Spring. In important detail I learned was that an academic year starts in the Fall and ends in the summer and that is it not the same as a calendar year. This is an important detail for me because I need to make sure that I have all the things I need to be completed to graduated this school year on time.
I learned a lot about a person in politics' perspective on things especially when it involves voting. I learned about the speaker's motivation on wanting to improve his neighborhood, I also learned a lot about different types of terms I never heard before such as what a citizen's legislature is. It means those people who have a full time job beside being a legislator.
Here I learned a lot about different types of internships that involve business and entrepreneurship among other things. One of these internships I learned about was the Elite Nanny Program Philadelphia Nanny Network. The requirements include knowing how to flexibility set up my own schedule and opportunity for advancement. This seems like a good opportunity with how it teaches people to know how to balance their time. In this program I learned that its not just a service but it is also about how to create a community that revolves around respect, growth, and mutual care. Learning about these things can really help me be more responsible and more independent.
Here I was able to learn about different opportunities. In Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Ctr. I learned that they offer after school, part time work, and are an non profit arts education provider. These are good opportunities for many people of different age ranges. Another opportunity I learned was is the Boys and Girls Clubs here people are eligible for the program up until senior year in college, these include only those in enrolled in school, and apprenticeship trade or vocational program. There we can also learn about different industries and discover. This is a good thing because I can find what suits my interests and strengths. This also prepares for the workforce with how I can do job searching, learn how to act in an interview.
Here I was able to learn about different kinds of opportunities. These include internships. In MedStar Health I learned they are looking for CT technologists. I also learned that in Hilton marketing space really fits well with Visual Communications. Knowing about this really helped me open my eyes to want to try to look for positions that fit this. They have opportunities on property and corporate. Marketing Space can include a lot of visual work which fits well with my major. Plus it also helps me get a better understanding in knowing which positions to apply for in the future.
