On Thursday, January 30, from 5:00–6:30 pm, Student Engagement & Leadership will be hosting a Virtual Presentation on Human Trafficking that will cover critical topics such as:
- What sex trafficking is and how it impacts communities
- Why Maryland is considered a national hotspot for child sex trafficking
- What to do if you suspect a child is being sexually trafficked
The presentation aims to raise awareness of this urgent issue and equip attendees with the knowledge to recognize and respond to signs of trafficking. It’s a great opportunity for students to gain insights that can help them contribute to a safer community.
