End of Year Semester Meeting

Thursday, December 12th, 2024 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm (ET)
Nicole Alura

During the end-of-semester session, I learned about the changes in the scholarship program's requirements. I realized there would be 5 "mini" sessions, which students have to choose 2 to attend throughout the semester, and the Refresh and End-of-Semester sessions are still mandatory. Also, it was great that we had a Kahoot and a Q&A which clarified the topics discussed.

I was reminded of some key factors that I overlooked concerning this academic year, such as the number of hours required for the promise scholarship and many more resources to better improve my performance at PGCC

Information session to prepare can keep you updated on the semester and spring semester. Good opportunity to catch up on any missed information or ask any questions.

The end of year semester meeting was so helpful. I almost forgot about filling out my FAFSA again until the meeting. The kahoot we had at the end was great. Helped me remember the important dates and meetings so much better!

I learned about new requirements being applied to the scholarship starting next semester, new dates/events for the upcoming semester, and clarifications/recap of what is expected from the scholarship. What I took from this session is to be patient, mindful of time, and alert in the program.
