I was glad to hear that next semester that there will be a lot more chances and flexibility with the mandatory scholarship sessions. In spring it was a little but harder for me to attend some, because they were during class time for me.
very helpful meeting
This one was a bit intense. Some of the key things that I have gotten from the meeting are that I always have to check my email once a day for updates from the promise coordinators and I have to attend at least two out of the five mini sessions for the "New Promise" program just like for the "Old Promise" program. I have to register for the "Refresh" either for Jan 14th from 11:50A.M.-12:50 P.M. or Jan 15th from 4:40-5:30 P.M and register for an "End of Semester" meeting. For the reminders, I have to meet with my academic advisor once a semester through Navigate and during the New Year, changes will be made to the scholarship requirement. This is a lot for me to take in, but I am sure I can handle it.
This meeting was very informative. I enjoyed playing the kahoot!
This session talked about how to navigate through the new dashboard and the new requirements for the spring semester in 2025. They mentioned the deadlines for fasfa and bookscholorship.
I appreciate all the hard work of Ms. Kimberly, Ms. Chantia, and Mr. Elio to answer all of our questions notify us of all the upcoming events, and remind us of our responsibilities as Scholarship students! I appreciated the Kahoot as well!
This end-of-semester meeting provided important information that I needed for the upcoming semesters regarding hours, events, and funds. The QnA also provided information for questions that I may not have even considered.
This refresh session gave information about updates and guidelines on maintaining scholarship requirements. These include GPA requirement, volunteer engagements, meeting advisor, sending report cards, etc. It was an informative session.
