I spent today helping out new PGCC Promise students get to their designated locations and answering their questions. I also helped set up the tables and food.
I watched the entire musical about the beauty of ordinary life.
I've learned about this semester's agenda at PGCC and also asked a couple of questions to the president of PGCC.
I've learned how to handle financial wellness as a student and as an adult.
I've learned that in Adulting, one of the things to keep in mind is that you have to be really careful when it comes to texting other students and teachers. You can't be brief or absent-minded in what you write. You need to always be attentive to them, as those can change the relationship you have with teachers, professors, and other students. I'll apply them by making better emails to my staff members and my peers in the future and alter how I structure them, whether it's important or not.
I helped the Garden Club by watering the plants and pulling out weeds.
During the Virtual Career Fair: Allied Health & Nursing; Behavioral & Social Sciences; Culinary Arts & Hospitality; Wellness, I've learned about a couple of career opportunities from the Health & Nursing field that I would be interested in joining. One of which is Inova.
Yesterday, I went there and competed with another student in a competition to see who could finish a puzzle first. In the end, I won and got a prize, which is a LEGO Star Wars set.
I've learned everything about managing my finances as a college student, as well as the hip-hop hierarchy of wealth: legacy, growth, stability, and survival.
