I grocery shopped for a family with three young kids in my neighborhood. The dad is currently in law school so he had to attend his classes during the day and was not able to watch the kids, making it impossible for the mom to go get groceries by herself. I offered to go for them since I am not at risk and am able to go on my own. Some of the necessities like eggs and bread were still running low, but I was able to get everything they needed for the week, which included some popsicles because it is already hot in Texas.
To stay fit during COVID-19, I went for an early morning 8 mile run in the rain.
Today we served chicken frittatas with rice, beans, and potatoes. The food smelled really good!

I created a flyer to educate people about resources available to victims of domestic abuse. During the COVID-19 crisis, domestic violence has been on the rise and knowing which resources are still available during this time is crucial for survivors. I made the flyer on Canva and posted it to my Instagram.
I sewed 5 masks and sent a photo to my TA to verify.
I made a recipe and cooked food for my family. I chose a recipe that was healthier than what we usually eat and prepared it for dinner.
Spoke with two people back to back. Yet another relationship issue, exacerbated by the stay-home policies. Another was looking to run ideas by someone about an academic plan and goal-setting for other parts of their life (exercise, friendships, finances..)
