I signed up for the ASL course through the Oklahoma School For The Deaf and completed class 1. In this class I learned how to sign the alphabet, a few vocab words, some personal pronouns, and basic sentence structure. There was also a document on deaf culture which was cool to learn more about!
I volunteer at Fellowship in their nursery for the 9 am service. This was for 1/22, 1/15, and 1/8.
I volunteer in my church nursery and work with a child with a disability. I love getting to build a relationship with her and believe this will help prepare me for a career in occupational therapy. I volunteered in the nursery on 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, and 11/13. I help to lead the classroom, teach lessons, and care for all of the other children as well.
I bought $10 worth of blanket material and am attending the event for 1 hour for 2 total service hours!
I did hearing screenings at the Jean Tyson Development Center for 1 hour on 11/4. We were able to screen the 3-4 year olds and only had a few re-screens.

I donated $25 to Kwek Society in order to provide period supplies to those in poverty. This is equivalent to 5 hours through their drive with the Native American Student Association
I brought 25 socks for 5 hours!
