Refresh Session (4th Session)

This refresh session went over the various rules that we have to follow in order to remain in the scholarship program, those of which include the program rules and academic rules. There were also some new rules or reminders introduced, such as a cap on how many field trip hours we can submit at a time.

The information was very helpful.It helped to remind me what I needed to get done this semester to be successful.

We had a zoom session where we talked about the Promise Scholarship, the requirements, what to look for with this upcoming year, and etc. I listened and garnered information, we did a kahoot as well, and ultimately learned about the general topic of the scholarships, and what to expect.

As usual, I think the way the special scholarship team breaks down the rules & the expectations for returning students is very well broken down & gets clearer every time. They did change some things like how hours work for long range trips which is really fine. Im okay with some of the changes & hope to finish the semester strong.

I enjoyed the refresh session and I am happy to be back again as a promise scholar

The meeting was a good refresher about the scholarship and it’s rules. A way to get us started for the semester.
