Refresh Session (4th Session)

I attended the virtual Owl Navigate meeting and learned how to use the career platform to find jobs, internships, and

career resources.

It was helpful to be reminded about the scholarship I received last year. The refresher helped me remember the requirements I need to meet in order to keep my scholarship and continue receiving its benefits.

At the start of the meeting, the SSP team reintroduced themselves. Then the SSP team reviewed the scholarship and academic requirements. For example, earning 15 engagement hours per semester is a program requirement, while maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5 is an academic requirement. After the presentation, the SSP team hosted a review quiz. After the review, the team held a Q&A session.

The Refresh Session was very helpful and helped refresh my memory about all the requirements of the Promise Scholarship and what is expected from me as a Promise Scholar. It reminded me of what I need to do to stay in good standing and continue receiving the scholarship.

It was good to see everyone again and as always, it’s good to help us remember what we need to do for the upcoming semester

It was a very informative meeting. I was reinforced with information about the program and academic requirements to maintain the scholarship. The program coordinators were very helpful.

It was a very good refresh session! I’m excited to graduate in a few months
