I've gotten most of my volunteer hours at the community garden! Definitely going back next semester!
We digged the edges of the fences and added some wood to stop the weeds from growing.
I enjoyed volunteering at the Concho Community Garden and it was really inspiring to see so any of us helping to maintain something for others. As an environmental science major, I found this experience especially fun and I plan to volunteer here again.
I had a fun time helping to clean and decorate Concho Garden. I spent most of my time cleaning buckets and pots and painting the utility table, and the teamwork we took part in made the experience very engaging.
I went to volunteer at the garden, but no one showed up. I waited an hour until I decided no one was coming, not sure if that counts or not.
I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering here. It is a wonderful feeling to get to help others selflessly while at the same time getting to work outside. I plan to volunteer here again next semester.
This was my first time gardening. We mixed the compost with shovels, painted the picnic table, removed weeds and grass, as well as throw out any trash around the area. It was physical labor, but the experience was great and you meet a lot of new people there.
The community garden was an amazing place to help out and meet people.
Took away some compost so fellow peers have more room to grow fresh veggies. Seems like a lot of manual labor but when you see what a community can grow you know it is worth it.

Trey, Can you please provide a brief description/review of this service project so I can verify the hours? Thank you.
