UT Concho Community Garden

Amazing to see how much of a difference a little bit of trimming can make

I helped pull out weeds, and trimmed the plants.

Helped pull out weeds for the hour.

The weather was nice and it was great being able to volunteer with friends.

Built form so that the garden could have more space to plant.

Volunteering at the garden was quite a different experience. I had never gardened before but the group leaders made it easy to contribute to the gardening. I mulched many plants, and then proceeded to clean up trash around the garden with my group. Good experience, I felt one with nature. I was a nature goddess for 2 hours. Go plants.

I have always enjoyed my experiences volunteering at the Concho Community Garden. Being able to work outside on various projects benefitting others and the environment is extremely rewarding to me.

Awesome volunteer opportunity because you actually get to see the results of all of your hard work!!!
