I attended a virtual Student Government Association (SGA) Town Hall hosted by Prince George’s Community College, where students had the opportunity to hear from college leadership and learn about campus initiatives. This helped me better understand how the college is actively working to improve student life and create a supportive environment. One of the most valuable aspects of this event was the opportunity for students to participate in a Q&A with college leadership. It showed that the administration is open to feedback and values student voices. We also met the candidates who are running for positions in the Student Government Association.
So for this session I remember that we got to listen to the candidates for SGA. There was one student who was doing Health Science Academy and also attending PGCC who sounded very confident and sure of herself. I wanted to vote for her specifically since I liked her message a lot.
I’m glad I joined this meeting. I’m glad that I got to see the candidates for the SGA and learn what their goals for SGA are.
I virtually attended the SGA town hall meeting. It was good to hear students ask questions and give feedback to our PGCC president. Always good to have the SGA organize events like this.
This wa my first town hall meeting so I found it very informative
During this event, I heard about new and upcoming events. I also was able to see the SGA members themselves during the meeting. I found the meeting to be interesting and informative, especially when it reminded me about the student elections.
