Really informative meeting. It's nice to know what's happening on other campuses and how they operate differently than the main campus. They provided a lot of information/events for all PGCC students, like reminders for finals week or tips for papers and math/stem exams. They also provided information about graduation celebrations and other information regarding that. We also meet candidates for SGA positions, which was kind of interesting.
SGA did roll call then proceeded to go over some event highlights and provided transportation to the national museum of African art. SGA made sure students accessed fresh water and fresh produce. You can pick up a care package LAST DAY APRIL 22. we also meet the SGA president candidates.
This session gave me a nice update about other events going on at PGCC. I also might have an incentive to participate in the SGA elections as some of the candidates spoke to me.
There was a lot talked about in this Town Hall. The presenters gave some study tips for finals and talked about pre-commencement events including cap decorating. Then, we got to meet the next SGA candidates and they answered some questions. There was a candidate I really liked who was running for President, she talked about her past experiences in leadership and the accomplishments of her teams, as well as her goals for transparency and her mental health advocacy work. Lastly, there was the PGCC President Q&A, where he talked about topics such as why and how some courses in the catalogue are included or dropped.
