Dia de los Muertos Festival Volunteers

I enjoyed volunteering at the kids section! It was really fun teaching them how to make paper flowers and having them color. Overall, I would recommend others to volunteer for Easter Seals!

I actually arrived early arrived early too my shift. Although this festival was filled with fun an joyous things to do. I was placed in the information desk where I sold sodas for 1.00 and gave out information about what the Easter Seals Program is. After that, about 30 minutes later i was placed as a gatekeeper near the emergency exit where I was politely asking people to NOT enter through the emergency exit and please go around the festival to enter through the correct entrance.

It's such a great experience. We decorated the kid's camp and played around with kids, helping them decorating the bags and masks as well as teaching them how to make flowers.

It was a lot of fun to see some of the Dia de Los Muertos unique rituals and music. It was also fun to see both children and parents get their faces painted.
