It is important to remember that not everything always has to be viewed in a negative lens is important and also the grounding technique is something that I am glad was mentioned because it genuinely does help when I am about to have a panic attack. Also acknowledging what the stressors are instead of ignoring it was something that I don't usually let myself think about. I will definitely try to utilize a planner and journal more.

A Purposeful Pause: Stress Relief for College Success.

I think this presentation was good and very important at this time. College can be very stressful, especially if you are balancing other things with it. This presentation was another reminder to pause, and take care of yourself and be more intentional about how you are taking care of yourself. Because you can easily get burnt-out.

In today's mini session, I learned about various techniques to help me de-stress, including breathing exercises such as box breathing, 4-7-8, body scan meditation, and mindful walking, as well as apps like Headspace and Calm. These are different forms of mindfulness techniques. As well as understanding how important mental health is in college, it's essential to work on our mental health and utilize the different resources available to us for support. Along with tips like taking a walk, whether it can be outside or even around the school, is good to help clear our mind.
