Serving lunch at the Siena Francis House was a humbling and grounding experience. It reminded me how important simple acts of service can be, and how much dignity and kindness matter to people who are facing difficult circumstances. As I handed out meals and talked with guests, I gained a deeper appreciation for the challenges many in our community face every day. The experience encouraged me to be more grateful, more empathetic, and more committed to finding ways to support others wherever I can.
