I was a volunteer for the Longhorn Lights Out event on February 26th. We as a group turned off as many light switches as we could in one building. The goal is to conserve energy and save money.
Was assigned a building to turn off any monitor, hallway lights and bulbs to try to conserve as much electricity as possible during the weekend at UT.
I volunteered at the Longhorn Lights Out event where I went to the GDC and the CLA building and turned off any lights that were left on in order to conserve energy! Very fun event and glad to help.

I served the UT Austin community by turning off unused lights in WAG and BRB. I'm glad that I was able to participate in this activity that promotes sustainability at UT Austin.
I enjoyed turning off the lights around GSB and helping to save and conserve energy for the efforts of sustainability. I will definitely come back here to serve the community and for the pizza that comes along with it!
