Came to support my friend (player 22)
I’m came to support my friend (22) and was very impressed
I found it very helpful when how the scholarship would look like on my student portal was described and showed.
I was tasked to help out with long jump with three other students. One kept score while two others and I rotated between marking athletes, evening out the sand, and sweeping it back into the pit. While helping, Ive leaned it really doesn’t matter how far the athlete jumps. As long as they jump behind the line, they may or may not qualify. I also will be helping out next year. It was fun. The different types of sport events are interesting.
The meeting was very informative. I’ve learned that I will be getting $250 for the summer, I don’t have to do both FAFSA and MDCaps, and to look out for emails in the summer.
This was my first time attending a drama production by pgcc. It did not disappoint. I enjoyed the the different perspectives of the play including the narrator; she was funny! The actors portrayed emotions in a way that made me feel how they did. I especially loved the lights. During the final act, the main character went back to the living. When she stepped in the past, the lights were warm tinted. And when she stepped back, in the “in-between”, the lights were cool tone.
SS&E Homecoming Tailgate Bash
This event was hosted by SSE. I got to talk to members and leaders part of STRIVE and TRiO. We were offered food, drinks, and sweets. I had the snow cones and funnel cake. At the end of the event, I offered to help with the cleanup.
