The Leadership Intensive was a truly informative and transformative experience for me. During our visit to Dave & Buster’s, we explored our individual leadership styles and had the chance to connect with other student leaders across the PGCC campus. I learned a lot about what it takes to be an effective leader and how to facilitate meaningful change within my own life and in the communities I’m part of.

This virtual fair was great as we had the opportunity to speak with different employers within our major's field and got more perspective on how to plan for our professional futures.
This meeting was really informative as Mrs. Alicia guided us through the Virtual interviewing process and explained to us the expectations of how we can prepare for our interview and engage with the employer throughout.
This session was very informative as Ms. Alicia discussed how to craft our resume to meet the requirements of future potential job opportunities, as well as how to make our resume engaging for employers.
The Strive Power Circle was amazing. We discussed the importance of self-identity, how it manifests in our lives and relationships, and how to establish a healthy self-identity for ourselves. It was a really engaging conversation and I picked up a lot of gems from it.
Attending the Strive Academy Orientation was very informative. We learned about the program's expectations, as well as upcoming events and benefits that we could gain from being part of the program. I also had the opportunity to meet other students and get to know more about each other and our goals, which really inspired me for the journey ahead.
I presented to the upcoming Promise Scholars about the different clubs, programs, and events happening on campus. We held a total of four sessions, specifically discussing the various ways students can get involved in CAB, SGA, and other campus leadership clubs. This experience allowed me to share valuable information and encourage new students to participate in campus life.
Attending the Trio Kickoff was great as it helped me understand what the program offers, like tutoring and workshops. Meeting the staff and students made me want to learn more and eager to join in the future.
The Kickoff was great. The STRIVE Team informed us about the STRIVE Program and what we can expect from it, as well as the resources available to help us be successful both academically and mentally while pursuing our future careers.
The Refresh meeting was informative as the SSP team went over the expectations and volunteer changes that were implemented for the program requirements.
