Today was the last day I got to volunteer at the YRCC and it was a bittersweet moment. We had the family night and there was face painting, Puddy making, a photobooth, painting, hula hooping, limbo, hop scotch, and so much more. The kids had a great time and I am going to miss them a lot. They are so sweet and I just had a blast hanging out with them this semester.

Today was a crazy day at the YRCC. The students came in with lots of energy so we took it outside to play freeze tag and some others played fisbee golf. We came back inside and had the littles play site word bingo which was very chaotic. We proceeded to take the littles outside for kids crops. They made watermelon mint lemonade and I got to try some of the watermelon which was delicious. we came back inside and played basketball until it was time to leave.

While Volunteering at the YRCC I learned a lot of information. There is one student who I believe is the smartest kid ever. He knows so much information and would tell me so many different facts that I would have never known when I was in fourth grade. We first ate our snacks and then played outside for about 30 minutes. We came back inside and started reading. We then started to play Sharks and Menos and Dodgeball.

While Volunteering at the YRCC I learned a lot of information. There is one student who I believe is the smartest kid ever. He knows so much information and would tell me so many different facts that I would have never known when I was in fourth grade. We first ate our snacks and then played outside for about 30 minutes. We came back inside and started reading. We then started to play Sharks and Menos and Dodgeball.

While volunteering at the YRCC I got to play with all the kids on the playground after they ate their snack. Then I got to read with the kids for a couple of minutes before some of us went into the multipurpose room to learn to play the ukulele.

We went inside and watched the Arkansas Basketball team read to the kids while the older kids went to the computer room. After, the children split up into groups. Some played the ukelele with Mr. Walter, Juggled, or did photography. The students juggling got a little frustrated so we moved to the playground so they could do something less stressful. I am not allowed to have my phone out so I do not have any pictures to prove the service.
