YRCC Afterschool Program

Every school year the YRCC hosts a an afterschool program for youth who attend our local schools. A large portion of what we do is facilitated with the help of volunteers, student learning students and interns. In the past, volunteers from the University of Arkansas have come from a variety of majors including Social Work, Psychology, Non-Profit Management, Education, Recreation Sciences, Health and Wellness, Business, and many others.

As a volunteer with the YRCC you make a big difference in the lives of the children we serve here at the center!  Being able to connect with children one on one and leading group games makes such a strong impact with our kids. We appreciate all your support and thank you!

If you have any questions about your volunteer hours, please EMAIL us and we can set up a time to sit down and go over your hours.
