Rachel Fuller

The SHARP program was both rewarding and challenging in multiple ways. I learned a lot about other professions, how to work in a team, and got a glimpse into the area of medical social work. The most challenging aspect was coordinating with other group members' schedules, but this also taught me important lessons like how to utilize time management, when to make personal sacrifices, and how to set boundaries professionally. Overall, this program helped me develop important skills that I can use in my future as a social worker.

Today was a busy shopping day, so I got to fulfill lots of orders which I really enjoyed. Finding a friend to work on orders with always makes the experience fun! The only challenge I ran into was making sure a particular shopper had all their items. Sometimes it can be difficult to communicate rules and procedures to shoppers, especially if it is their first time at the Blazer Kitchen. Regardless, we made it work! My key takeaway from today is that teamwork is essential.
