During this event, I participated in a Trunk or Treat Event. It was a Halloween inspired event designed to allow kids to safely trick or treat. My friend and I decorated the trunk of her car with spooky decorations, that the kids loved. We passed out candy and had a lot of fun as well.

The University of Memphis' Army ROTC color guard team volunteered at an event held at Ducks Unlimited National Headquarters. During this event, we conducted a presentation of colors as the everyone sung the Pledge of Allegiance. It was an honor to be allowed to do so, and I would happily volunteer for an event like this again.
The University of Memphis' Army ROTC color guard team volunteered at an event held at Memphis National Golf Club. During this event, we conducted a presentation of colors as the National Anthem was played. It was an honor to be allowed to do so, and I would happily volunteer for an event like this again.
During this volunteer event, the University of Memphis' Army ROTC department assisted the girls volleyball team for one of their events. Myself and other cadets we're responsible for helping the girls warm up and rack up balls during the game. It was a great opportunity to help out another one of the University's organizations. I would most definitely want to do it again.
The events hosted by the Catholic Charities of West Memphis are truly amazing. Today (Friday) we passed out hot breakfast plates to those in need and they truly enjoyed it. These benefits and the help that the give out to the community is awesome. I am extremely glad that I have had the opportunity to help them out.
This experience is one that I will never forget. Today, I helped distribute food and other items to those in need. We have them bags filled with sandwiches and other snacks that they could enjoy. We also, gave masks to those who needed them.
We had so much fun. Calvert was an extremely friendly dog. When we first received him, he was timid and scared to get in the car. He even refused to take the Chick-fil-A nuggets that we gave him. We first took him on a trip to pet smart, him picked out his own toys and bone. He played with the strangers in the store and gave them warm hugs. He started to warm up to us and after eating a pup-cup from Starbucks he became our best friend. He eventually ate the Chick-fil-A nuggets, rolled around in the grass, and had a lot of fun. Calvert is a family friendly dog and would do wonderful in a house with small children. We were extremely sad to watch him go but we hope that he soon finds a forever home.
