    I was paired with a sweet little boy named Beck! We threw a lot of balls and walked around in the stroller. It was a great time, a blessing to me and hopefully to him.

    rEcess is a night of free childcare for parents to bring their children with disabilities. I was a volunteer paired with a child with disabilities. The children get to enjoy a fun night with friends while the parents get some free time to spend how they would like. I took away the importance of these parents getting a break as they love their children very well and that is time consuming!

    We went bowing at the YRCC today! I bowled with a few of the kids and played games with them. When we got back to the YRCC I helped them get signed in to play on the computers.

    I enjoyed my time at the YRCC today! We played with the kids at the beginning, just whatever they wanted to play. Then we read books for a little while. I read a dinosaur book with Xaiden. Then we helped the kids do an experiment where we tried to see the DNA in a strawberry.
