I went to the Best in Show/Finals Festival yesterday. I got to enjoy some great snacks and catch up with Jennifer and Elizabeth while also getting some time away from finals stress. I also got to see a lot of adorable dogs which always makes any day better.

I went to a service event with ASID in which we did karaoke and I brought 11 canned goods that were then donated to a local shelter. It was a lot of fun getting to do karaoke with a lot of my fellow interior design friends and it is rewarding to know that I was able to help someone even a little with some canned goods.
I attended the final Recess of the semester in the Gearhart lounge. I figured this would be a great way to relax for a little bit before I officially started studying for my exams coming up. It was fun to talk to the people and not think about everything I have to do for a little bit.
I got the opportunity through my sorority to decorate/make door decorations for the Fayetteville Veterans Home. It is nice to know that even though I didn't get to go and see them the door decorations I made hopefully made some of the veterans their smile. They got to put them on their doors as a little bit of holiday cheer which I think everyone could use during this time of year.
I went to the Honors College Study Abroad Grants Workshop as one of my Honors Events this semester. I chose this one because I am in the process of applying to study abroad for Fall 2023 and I wanted to see if there was anything else I might like to know about opportunities I could potentially have.
I loved getting to contribute to a cause that is something that so many women struggle with. Period products can be really expensive and if by donating a few boxes of period products can make a difference in another woman's life than I am all for it.
I enjoyed taking time to express my concerns about this campus, such as parking.
I went to the Academic Planning and Mapping Honor's Event. At this event I learned about how to pick a major and then how to pick classes from there. While I am in my second year here it is always good to hear other tips on how to pick courses especially since I have a very some amount of hours that I actually get to pick my courses for.
I volunteered at Potter's House for 4 hours and I worked with the staff to clean up the aisles, sort through the items on the shelf and take out the ones that had green tags on them, I hung up a bunch of swimsuit bottoms so they could go on the shelves and I put up two boxes worth of purse on they hangers. This was such an interesting day because while I do some of the same things at the Jackson House back in Hot Springs, this is on a much grander scale and in turn takes a lot more people to make everything go smoothly.
