Since I am apart of New Greek Council, I helped set up for Greek Sing. During the event I was paired with Alpha Delta Pi. I ensured all the members stayed together along with stay quiet during the show. Towards the end of the night I helped clean up the venue.
During my time at LifeSource I helped by loading carts with food to give to families. Each family was given a meat item, a sweet, and some canned goods.
Today at the food bank, we organized the warehouse along with set up an assembly line of food products to create USDA commodity boxes. The boxes will be used at the mobile locations on Thursday, where families that qualify can pick up their box of food.
During our sisterhood service we packed boxes with food and other necessities for the military. We also made cards to share our gratitude and spirit for the holidays.
Through New Greek Council, I had the opportunity to participate in a park clean up at Wilson Park.
During my shift I sorted and organized bread. We first had to sort through racks of bread and throw all the expired products in a bin. Then we sorted the bread products into the the groups of: sliced bread, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, bagels, sweet/sugar bread, and random.
