About
We were established in 2001 and serve over 62,000 people a year in stress and facing hunger. Our mission is to strengthen families and build communities. In order to accomplish this, we use a hand up versus a handout approach by providing not only food, but free clothing, childcare, adult education and senior lunches. We also have a counseling service to assist families in need with mental health services on a sliding fee scale. We utilize volunteers in our food pantry/warehouse, after school and summer care for children, Senior Saturdays and Continuing Education programs. Hours are flexible and can be varied.
