It was nice to volunteer on behalf of a group that wants to celebrate the donors that make the University of Texas possible. Volunteers encouraged students to show thanks by signing a giant card thanking our donors or taking a picture with boards that had messages thanking our donors. Once students showed their appreciation through either action, they received bags, cookies, and sunglasses. Overall, it was a nice event to thank donors and thank the students that showed genuine appreciation.

This was a very successful fall carnival and it was honestly a pleasure to see kids enjoy themselves while parents also got to have fun. The event was organized/structured from start to end which made me feel more organized as to what shift to show up to at each hour. I would gladly be willing to serve the school and its students at its next function.
