Holiday Heroes Project

Today I wrote letter to our fellow US Troops. It was a good event that I enjoyed.

Today we wrote inspirational letters to the troops in Iron Rakkison. We were able to encourage them and give thanks for all the hard work they have put in to serve our country. I really enjoyed this volunteer service and was happy I was able to send some for of communication to those risking their lives everyday to protect our country.

I felt good about it because I was able to express my gratitude towards those troops that sacrifice themselves for this nation.

This was a really good event, a chance to let know our troops that what they are doing is something really good for this country, I truly enjoyed it.

I had a lot of fun writing letters to the troops and sending them our appreciation. I enjoyed working with my mentees and taking pictures as well as listening to holiday music as I wrote the messages. I also saw some really cool letters!

Felt really nice to do something for the soldiers, feel like we can really make an impact with small simple gestures.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to write to the soldiers, or Iron Rakkasans. It was a great experience to share the holiday spirit, even if they are oceans away.
