Refresh Session (1st Session)

Amazing Presentation. Im glad to kick off the semester!!!!

On Tuesday, I joined the Promise Scholarship Refresh for returning scholarship students. The scholarship coordinators reminded participants of the requirements to maintain the full scholarship and avoid partial or no funding for a semester.

We were told about what we have to do to keep our scholarship through the school year. We also reviewed about community hours, grades and etc.

I attended the Refresh Session, where we reviewed important information about college. We learned who our advisors are and how they can help us. We also discussed the mandatory hours we need to complete, financial aid, GPA requirements, and the deadline for dropping a class. The session was helpful because it reminded me of important dates, requirements, and resources that I can use to stay on track with my college goals.

The meeting was great! I learned about the expectations and consequences of maintaining academic and program standings, as well as several challenges I have to face during the semester, including academic good standing, grades, GPA, and others. We also learned about how to get and log service hours in. Overall, nice presentation and great lesson I learned.

I attended the Refresh session for the fall 2026 semester. It was a good recap on scholarship expectations as well as new updates regarding the scholarship program. It answered many questions I had and Im sure it did for many other students.
