It was very straightforward and the people there were very nice, so that was very cool.

I enjoyed being a member of the sustainability squad. I got to help people properly dispose of their trash, and I had a good view of the soccer game at the same time. After the game was over, I helped clean up the stands. I hope that more sporting events will become zero waste sporting events in the future.

The volunteer opportunity was a great cause to the environment since volunteers were separating the recyclable and compost items. Afterwords when we were done, weighing the items was also a good idea because it shows the progress.
This was a wonderful experience! I had fun helping out at the Zero Waste Soccer Match! I will definitely be looking for more opportunities to volunteer at Zero Waste Events!
