The presentation provided a lot of good advice on how to best represent yourself on a resume. One tip that stood out was to make resumes tailored to the position, notably by including relevant experience.

Thank you for the information about resumes. I’ve been wondering how to shorten my resume and the video really helped.

Today I learned about what a resume is supposed to have, such as a goal statement, previous experience, skills, and also your education. As well as what are some verbs to use to describe yourself, and that a resume is not supposed to be longer than a page. Along with resources that we can use to get help with our resume building at PGCC, also resources online to use to help us get an idea and see how to construct our own resume for future jobs.
