Art Gallery Series Session 1 'Behind the Labels'

I got to learn about the experiences and opinions of artists. They discussed interesting topics like copyrighted images and the challenges underrepresented artists face. It was a good presentation.

I liked the presentation since we got to see art and the voices behinds of those art. And how culturally significant they are as well.

The presentation made me reflect on how curatorial events or art can have a huge impact on people’s lives. Great presentation.

The art gallery event was a really meaningful experience for me. I expected it to be just informational but seeing the behind the scenes setup of the exhibitions in Marlboro Hall before it opened made everything feel more powerful and real. The rich African American culture, struggles, and achievements truly came to life through the pieces on display. The discussions between the hosts were insightful and added great context. I’m looking forward to the next session to continue experiencing more powerful artwork.

This was a good event to attend. I heard other people opinion on topics that I struggle to answer. This was also very interactive with questions.
