I have not worked at the ReStore shop before and I am very glad that I know about it now. The shop's mission is incredible and all proceeds are given directly back to the community to make a difference. I got to help organize some things around the shop. I worked in the houseware section and I met some very kind people.

During this event I got to help the Restore shop prepare for a new paint job. I moved around paintings, took items off the walls, and threw away items they no longer needed. My service helped the workers at the Restore shop as they prepared for a new paint job for an updated space for their customers. This event helped me remember that a little bit of work can go a long way to help someone else.
