I volunteered today to go to after-school with the kids at LifeSource. It was a super fun service opportunity! We colored, ate snacks, and helped the kids with their reading. All of the kids were so sweet, and I really enjoyed my time!

I had such a great time getting to hangout with the kids as well as helping them in their school work. I like how much better they listen to your lessons if you were the one that just colored or played volleyball with them. It's such a great opportunity to be a mentor, tutor, or friend depending on what that kid needs for the day.

I worked with Abigail, Paxton, and Chloe. Abigail was struggling with fractions, but Miss Linda was able to help her. Chloe was fine on her own doing a word search, and I helped Paxton with distributions in math.
