I was in the Sun Room, I think, the one with the lava lamps! We prepped a lot of them in the beginning which was really fun. Then I was switched over to teach the kids about tension with this cool off brand lego set. So of them even built the structure from scratch super fast, I was really impressed. They were very sweet and I had a great time.

I am the Vice President of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), and I ran AWM's booth from 9 a.m (setup) to 3:15 (take down). We had two activities for students: Exploring shapes with a Geoboard and rubber bands, and making Mobius Strips. I signed in with my club rather than as a general volunteer. Thank you!

Good experience, kind program leaders but fairly confusing. Little introduction but manageable. Directed traffic outside and answered questions of patrons.
