I enjoyed volunteering here. It was very peaceful and productive and I would do it again.
Did some more transplanting! I enjoyed the process and am feeling good about the fact that the plants will be used to improve water quality in NWA!
I volunteered at the Watershed resource conservation center and repotted plants with them, and it was a pretty good experience. It was a great way to give back to the community in a conservation sense rather than the food packing, moving items, and making items that is a common task when volunteering.
I learned more about the Watershed Conservation Resource Center, what they do and why they do it. I spent my time repotting native plants that will get a second shot at life.
I removed incorrect labels on the potted plants and corrected them with the correct labels. After that, I re-potted plants that had compressed soil so that they had a better opportunity to grow. It was very welcoming and inviting.
