During my time at Potter's House, I helped sort and restock donations, assisted with organizing displays, and worked to keep the thrift floor clean and inviting. It reminded me how small efforts behind the scenes can directly benefit families in need.
At the Hoop House I transplanted and repotted native plants that will be used at WCRC project sites such as the White River. The environment, wildlife, and even the community as a whole benefit from these efforts. This experience has shown me the importance of sustainable practices and how small actions can contribute to a healthier planet.
While volunteering I helped unload and organize donations anywhere from clothes and toys, to furniture and mattresses. I also helped organize and hang clothes. Everything Potter's House does is to support the "at-risk" kids in Fayetteville and I've learned how impactful even small acts of service can be in creating a positive change in the community.
At Potter’s House they provide affordable clothes, shoes, and toys for the families in Fayetteville. I helped organize clothes, direct customers, and pick up trash to help maintain the welcoming environment. I learned that something as simple as tidying up the shop can play a positive role in the overall well-being of our community.
