I enjoyed picking up trash, as it felt good to make the community feel and look cleaner. I was to expecting to find as much as we did.

I had a great time. Went with two of my friends and we were actually surprised how much trash there actually was

Thanks for making the trek all the way around the lake-- appreciate your help making it sparkle! :)

Was a great experience. I usually do my cardio at walker park and run past all the trash so it was nice to slow down and clean up an area I use frequently.

I was honestly surprised by the amount of trash we came across. I didn't realize how much of a need there was until I saw for myself. Although we picked up everything in sight, I know we could've continued for many more hours and still find plenty of plastic and trash lying around. I guess I tune this out day to day, but out there lookin for it my eyes were open. Every five feet there was something to pick up.

Collecting litter along the street was a surprisingly eye-opening experience. At first, it felt like a simple task, but as I continued, I began to notice just how much waste had accumulated in such a short stretch of road. It was a bit overwhelming to see how easily people discard items without thinking about the impact. At the same time, it felt rewarding to physically make a difference and see the area become cleaner as I worked. I also became more aware of my own habits and how important it is to properly dispose of trash. Overall, the experience made me more mindful of the environment and motivated me to encourage others to take better care of shared spaces.
