Regional Council

Open Opportunity

About

Beginning April 2026, Regional Councils will meet on the third Tuesday every other month in a virtual format to allow for consistency and accessibility. Each meeting will begin with a 30-minute full-group session that includes updates from a member of CHN’s Executive Management Team, Board of Directors, and/or presentations from departments to deepen council members’ understanding of CHN’s work across programs and regions. If preferred, individual councils may meet more frequently and in person at a regional CHN office and join other statewide councils virtually from their local conference room.
Following the full-group portion, councils will break into local, region-specific meetings for an additional hour. These local conversations will focus on community-level topics such as funding opportunities, local challenges and barriers to success, upcoming events, and ways council members can support CHN’s work in their specific area.
To further strengthen relationships and deepen engagement, each Regional Council will participate in an annual in-person experience that includes a tour of their local CHN office and a staff meet-and-greet. This provides council members with firsthand exposure to CHN’s work and creates stronger connections between volunteers and staff.
Through this structure, Regional Councils will continue serving as trusted community advisors, informed advocates, and supporters of CHN’s mission, amplifying our impact at the local level while staying connected to the organization as a whole.
