About

Join us for our Dominican Day(s) of Service in partnership with Marin Community Clinics Health Hubs.
The Health Hub (HH) is an outdoor, community-based, multicultural and multilingual food assistance program that connects, engages and provides food assistance and community resources in San Rafael & Novato. Since COVID-19, the demand for their Food Assistance Program has increased significantly—now serving more than 1000 people per week, up from an average of 650 people per week pre-COVID-19. Besides food insecurity, Health Hubs also tries to provide wraparound information distribution and referral assistance, as the community is  hard-hit in terms of housing and economic stability during this Pandemic.

For the Dominican Day of Service @ Health Hubs, we have volunteer opportunities at Health Hubs' San Rafael and Novato sites during the week of April 21-29th.  Dominican volunteers have an opportunity to help schedule vaccination appointments, and outreach on housing assistance and ongoing Covid-19 updates/protocols.  There is also an opportunity for volunteers to do a neighborhood walk to offer door-to-door information and assistance for those who can't come to the clinic. Bilingual Spanish or Vietnamese speakers are highly preferred, but we welcome enthusiastic monolingual English speakers too!  For more details and to sign up for specific days/times please see below.
