trash duty, no recycling today

Weeded and raked walkways around shed and north street perimeter, including gravel pile. I weeded under the Parks on Tap vehicle as far as I could reach. Weeded North St perimeter from gate to 19th. Laura Vastbinder was working on the other north street perimeter at the same time.

Trash duty

Emptied trash and replaced liner. Placed trash bag and recycling bin out for Monday collection. Recycling was not collected by city until late Tuesday.

Weeded North Street perimeter from central gate to 19th Street corner by the hose and steps. Also weeded gravel path in front of perimeter, gravel pile, and paths around and between the shed.

Weeded/cleaned up interior North Street perimeter from the gate to 19th and the common walkway there. Put two wheelbarrows full of weeds into compost bin. Emptied two wheelbarrows with significant standing water from the rain. Also weeded exterior perimeter from 19th Street gate to Wallace Street. Talked briefly with Justino Navarro while working on North Street

Perimeter work: spreading salt hay, planting flower seeds, weeding and general clean up

Shifted dirt pile under the tree from last fall, dug out a volunteer tree, some weeding, walkway clean up (raked and shoveled the leaves to make a compost layer before putting the salt hat), planted Peruvian 4 o’clocks and spread about half the salt hay.
