Volunteering at the Bridgeport Registrar of Voters office allowed me to see firsthand how local government supports civic participation. I assisted with voter record maintenance, data entry, and outreach preparation, which showed me how behind-the-scenes work directly impacts access to voting. This experience reinforced the importance of consistency, accountability, and service in ensuring fair and accurate elections within the community
