The PGCC Promise meeting was very informative. I learned about maintaining my GPA, completing progress reports, and the 15 hour engagement requirement. Hours must be PGCC sponsored, logged on givepulse and verified. I feel more prepared to stay compliant and keep my scholarship.

This training covered the core functions of GivePulse for tracking community engagement. I learned how to navigate My Dashboard, log volunteer hours through "Add Impact", register for events, and use Group pages like the Special Scholarships Program hub.
It was fun and very informative
The presentation was very informative and helpful because it explained important details about summer tuition, fall registration, and engagement hours. I learned that late summer registration does not always guarantee financial coverage, and that the book scholarship is limited to $250. The speakers also stressed the importance of meeting with an academic advisor before registering for classes and making sure schedules are correct because classes fill up quickly. Another important topic was engagement hours, where they explained the 15-hour semester requirement and how students should properly use GivePulse to track their participation. Overall, the presentation was clear, organized, and useful because it gave students reminders and guidance that can help them stay on track academically and avoid common mistakes.
it was fun and educative.
