AA is an Associate of Arts, and focuses on liberal arts and humanities and is transfer friendly. AS is an Associate of Science, and focuses on math and science and also transfer friendly. AAS is an Associate of Applied Science, and focuses on immediate work for a trade, healthcare, or technical job. It is better for students who don’t plan to transfer/work right away. Certificates help for quick entry for specific skills and take fewer credits than a degree.

In the meeting we went over navigating GivePulse, including viewing our profile information, registering for events, and how to add impacts. We also covered viewing current registrations, past events, and submitted impacts/total hours. Something I learned was that disputed impacts can still get verified by adding/changing any wrong information that was submitted for the impact.

In this meeting we went over academic, program, and engagement requirements. Some things that were discussed were the types of activities that count for engagement hours and 15 hrs/semester. We also went over using GivePulse, attending 2 mini sessions/semester, 30 credits/academic year, GPA requirements, and reading the biweekly's.
