I was able to learn a lot from this mini session when it came to the differences between an AA, AS, and AAS degree. I learned which degree is best for you when it comes to the career you want to pursue and how well your credits will transfer to a bachelor's program depending on the degree. Overall, it was a very informative and helpful mini session.

I attended the Build Your Resume with Little or No Work Experience workshop and it was pretty helpful. I was able to learn what exactly should be on your resume and how it should be formatted. I thought that it was also helpful how the presenter included people's actual resumes on the presentation so we could see what should be added onto your resume and what shouldn't.
I attended the GivePulse demo training mini session and I thought that it was really helpful when it came to reminding me how to use the website. I liked how Mr.Cruz explained everything in the website such as registering for events and logging in your hours correctly. I feel the logging in your hours part is something that can be confusing sometimes but it was good to get a recap of how to do it.
I attended the "How to Use Owl Careers" workshop and I thought that it was very helpful. I was able to learn how to look for not only jobs but internships as well. It was also helpful to learn how to update your profile. I will make sure to use owl careers when looking for a job or internship.
Attending this Refresh session really helped to remind me again of the requirements for this scholarship program. During the semester, it can be easy to forget about what is expected of you for this scholarship so sessions like this help me stay on track for completing the requirements. I liked how they went over everything you should already know in detail. For example, the academic side which includes completing at least 12 credits in the fall and spring semester as well as completing 30 credits each academic year.
I attended the end of the semester meeting and it was very helpful. I liked how the presenters reminded us of the different deadlines as well as the program and academic requirements that are needed to maintain this scholarship. I also really liked how they had questions for us to answer it helped me stay engaged. Overall, I enjoy these types of meetings because they help me stay on top of my requirements.
I attended the "I Have My Degree...Now What?" workshop where the presenter talked about understanding your options after graduation as well as career and transfer pathways. I found it helpful since I was able to learn a lot for example, I learned how to access the handbook online to answer questions about my career such as if I need to further my education. I also learned how to answer questions in an interview as well as how to dress correctly for one. Overall, I learned a lot from this workshop.
I attended the Soft Skills to get & Keep a Job workshop and I found it really informative. I liked the presenter and how she showed videos to make it easier to understand I also found her presentation really easy to follow. I understand what to do when it comes to a job interview and what not to do. For example, you should be on time, dress appropriately, and have a positive attitude things like this make a big difference when it comes to job interviews.
I attended the Adulting 101 Mini Session and it was really helpful. I liked how the presenter used scenarios as a way to help us understand. Rather than simply just reading off of a bunch of slides. I was able to understand how to format my emails as well as voicemails. Also, how to speak to my peers especially when it comes to working on group assignments or projects.
I attended the building your resume workshop and it helped me a lot. I really liked how the presenter broke everything down in a way that made it easy to follow and understand. For example, they provided resources to help you with your resume like resume builder. And they also included a video that explained ten tips to help make your resume better.
