On a Saturday morning I did maintenance at a local Austin garden. Activities included trimming plants, compost, and weed removal.
Another beautiful day at the Concho garden. There were about a dozen of us given various tasks to maintain the garden. My main responsibilities included grapevine and compost maintenance. I found somewhere close to home where I enjoy volunteering, so I look forward to helping out more.
I volunteered to Interview BA 101 students at the Ford Career Center.
I volunteered to interview BA 101 students at the Ford Career Center. I conducted several interviews and gave feedback to students.
More than pleased with what is going on at the Concho garden. I was tasked mainly with pulling weeds. Also, the tour of the garden was enjoyable. My lunch was made even better due to the fresh vegetables I took home from the garden. I decided to return to the garden the following weekend.
I shoveled mulch to the trees of my neighborhood park in North University.
Trick or treating for canned goods
